Swift Boat Veteran Launches New Attack ... on Iran

Jerome R. Corsi, the leader of the "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" attack on John Kerry, is hard at work on his next political project: the U.S. invasion of Iran. Corsi believes a U.S.-Iran war could occur as soon as March, 2005.

"The world cannot tolerate the potential that these mad mullahs would have a deliverable nuclear weapon, even one, secretly developed," Corsi said. "They might just launch on Tel Aviv. The moment the world intelligence community becomes convinced that could happen, either the U.S. alone or the U.S. plus Israel or Israel alone will seriously contemplate a preemptive strike, and I'd be in favor of it."

Prior to organizing the Kerry attack, Corsi was a denizen of right-wing chat rooms, most spectacularly one called "Free Republic" where, among other things he wrote that Islam is "a worthless, dangerous Satanic religion," that "boy buggering in both Islam and Catholicism is okay with the Pope as long as it isn't reported by the liberal press," and that Muslims (whom he habitually refers to as "ragheads") "are Boy-Bumpers as clearly as they are Women-Haters -- it all goes together."

Corsi vows to use the same "successful tactics" that he employed in organizing the "Swift Boat" group. Given that none of the "Swift Boat Veterans" served with John Kerry and had no knowledge of Kerry's performance in battle, and given the fact that Corsi himself never even served in the military, it must be that he intends to tell big whopping public lies in pursuit of his new goal.
